“Disappointed by Office Staff's Lack of Customer Focus and Punitive Policies My recent experience with Stark Aeration was a mixed bag. While the service technician my wife ultimately interacted with was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with, the initial interactions with the office staff were unfortunately quite disappointing. Throughout my communication with the office staff, I encountered a concerning lack of empathy and clear communication. As a customer service professional myself, I understand the importance of addressing customer concerns with respect and understanding. Unfortunately, the staff I interacted with seemed to prioritize company policy over showing genuine care for my situation. Specifically, there was a disagreement regarding a service fee. Despite my contract outlining the terms, I was informed the information had changed. Disappointingly, there was no offer for a technician to assess the situation before incurring an additional cost. This approach left me feeling unheard and frustrated. This experience raises a larger concern about Stark Aeration's approach to customer service. Companies thrive on customer loyalty, and a significant portion of that loyalty stems from feeling valued. In my experience, a focus on clear communication and a willingness to find solutions could have significantly improved the situation. Unfortunately, the encounters I had left me feeling like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer for over 12 years. Furthermore, the lack of flexibility with my contract, especially without prior communication, suggests that the company may be implementing punitive policies based on past customer behavior. This approach unfairly penalizes loyal customers like myself and risks eroding trust. On a positive note, the service technician who came out was professional, kind, and addressed the issue promptly. This experience highlighted the stark difference in customer focus between the office staff and the technician in the field.”

“Hi, it’s me I’ve called 2 times just THIS WEEK& left voicemails & my dad called today. With no call back or answers. Maybe the phones aren’t working? Was just wondering if I could ever get a call back ? Regarding the issue of my septic blower… from the old one being fixed & sold to someone else without me knowing. I would greatly appreciate it. “I have been in contract with them for years and hadn't had much issues, however, 6 months ago I had a biannual inspection and they told me I needed an aerator motor but it on back order. 6 months later it is still on back order. when then sent me a contract to renew I looked elsewhere and learned that the aerator motors have NEVER been on backorder!! so they are liars and they charge too much!! shop around before you get locked it to a contract with someone who doesn't want to do their jobs.”

“Stark aeration was extremely unreliable and offered excuses for years as to why they could never fix the septic system they installed. After finally telling me I had to convert my septic to a new system after they ran the current one into the ground. The owner ignored me for months then came back with a price 3x higher than what he had initially quoted So dishonest and unreliable, would not recommend to anyone.”
