Just a note regarding the amazing service Ray Erb, Jonathan and others who helped get our grinder system back up and running. My wife noticed a red blinking light on our grinder box. Long story short the Erb team cared for us over the weekend and then proceeded to fix a broken pipe in our grinder tank. This involved a mini track hoe and on a rainy day they got us up and running. What a team! Great work !

Worked with Kevin (and his boss Ray) on a grinder pump trouble alarm. Called Kevin on a Sunday and he offered to come the next day so I could avoid the extra cost. By Wednesday the situation was resolved! Grinder pump was OK, but the rail system installed previously (subpar workmanship by others) needed to be removed and new floats and check valve installed. Took them a bit trying to get the old rail system to work but it was too warped. System now working fine! Pleasure to work with them, esp. with their sense of humor! Office staff was friendly and responsive. Price came in under the ballpark estimate and of course they guarantee their work. Hard to beat in my opinion!!

I’ve been using Erb and son as my septic company for 5 years since purchasing my home. They’ve been great to work with for the required township inspections and pumping so when I had septic backing up on Saturday they were the first ones I called. Kevin was the man on call. We spoke three different times on Saturday as he walked me through various troubleshooting ideas to try and find the problem. He was quick to answer and quick to explain to me what I needed to do each time. He went ABOVE and BEYOND trying to save me money and eliminating the emergency weekend call fees. Turns out in my troubleshooting I was able to clear up my line and save a bunch of money. Erb will be the only company I call for my septic needs! It’s great to deal with local companies that want to save their customers money. Thanks Kevin!

When I needed a new sewer pump, I called Erbs. 2 techs came out and replaced the pump. After a few days I realized the pump wasn't working as my holding tank was full. I had to have them come out for 2 "emergency calls" before they found the pump was bad. They installed a new.pump but then charged me for the emergency calls that I wouldn't have needed if the first pump worked and also charged me to install the second pump. The job that should have cost $2500 ended up costing me over $3500. When I called to ask about the additional charges I was told they dont make the pumps they just install them so they aren't responsible if they are faulty. I would never recommend this company.

****The pump was less than 2 years old...still under warranty. The bolts on the discharge pipe were never tightened properly when installed by Erb. They replaced our septic pump a few years back and when installing it did not properly tighten the bolts that hold it on the pipe. Turns out that it wasn't working for a long time due to this, which ran up our electric bill from constantly running. They came out and found this was the problem. It took an hour to fix. They sent us a bill for $340 for them fixing their mistake. We were disappointed that they didn't stand by their work.
