“Would highly recommend Tom Hunter Septic over and over!!!! My story: So I live in a new build home and we’re connected to city sewer but we have a grinder sump pump to help push the sewage up hill to the city pipes. Our sump pump stopped working and we had overflow into our flowerbed. I call a well-known large plumbing company immediately, as we have 5 people on the household and can’t go long without being able to use water/toilets. This company charged me a $99 emergency fee, says they’ll be out between 8-12 and show up at 2. Then they say they’ll have to pump the sump pump before they can evaluate the issue. After getting it setup and paying $595 to have it pumped they schedule it for the next morning. In the meantime I call Tom Hunter Septic. They come out and in 15 min, have the pipe cut and pull out the sump pump to immediately find out the pipe used by the builder to connect the pump to the sewer snapped and so the pump wasn’t broken it just needed to be reconnected to the pipe. The next morning they come out with steel reinforced connectors and larger, thicker pipes to connect everything and immediately it was working. They reconnect the floats and even went above and beyond to check the sump pump alarm connection (which never went off) and get it rewired and reconnected. The fee they charged me was very affordable and would not have compared to the fee charged by the larger plumbing company I called. And the work the did will ensure this won’t happen again, which was the best part of it all. Very affordable and great work done!!!! Plus they were so nice and gave me all the details of what they were going to do. I will not be calling anyone else if we have issues again and I highly recommend them for any septic/sump pump issues!”
