“Try Southern Septic First!!!!So we had a septic backup in the house from a clog, but when they looked further the company that first came out stated that I would need a new septic drainfield and it would cost $18,000. This is after they had charged me $1800 to drain and repair the clog. So I decided to look further and try to get another estimate and a very good friend of mine who works for Ritz Carlton Residences told me about Southern septic. I thought it was gonna be just another septic company who was going to quote me a high price for something I probably don’t need. However, George the owner of the company was different. He told me he would test my drainfield first and check to see if it’s no longer useful. He said, based upon no water spouting up after poking rods into the ground In the drainfield, that he could fix it without renewing the drain field. He bypassed the area where watered pooled… And he added bioactive enzymes and bacteria to clean up the sludge. He saved me several thousand dollars in doing this process and it fixed the issue. I highly recommend this company for their honesty, Integrity, and work ethic! They followed through to the end and even put dirt down to build up a trenched area that had developed. You can’t go wrong with this company.”

“The crew came out and got right to work assessing the tank and working with what we could tell them we saw and heard in the house. They took time to explain what they found with our system and how they didnt want to perform or charge for services that we didnt need. They helped us identify where the problem was and went above and beyond to get us in a better position with this system. Guys were super polite and helpful! Have already recommended them to others!”

“They claimed to have fixed the issue, but the other day, my alarm continued to sound. Despite my repeated requests, they refused to return to inspect the problem and refused to acknowledge it as their responsibility. They lack any warranty and have threatened to sue me. Not only did they provide poor service, but they also took my money without fixing my issue.”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are scam artists and con-men, and will rip you off. We bought our first house on Septic three years ago. To be proactive, I had a septic inspection by another company who told me our pump was starting to fail, so I paid $2500 to have a brand new pump installed. In February 2023, I called out Southern Septic to pump our tanks. George quoted $900, then got a $4000 bill after Andy did the work. They said that our pump (that was only one-year-old) had failed and that we needed a new one. They sold me what they said was a new pump. And they also charge me $800 for some special treatment to help with Biomat in our leech field. Within six months, our septic system failed. After running multiple tests, and he told me it was the electrical connection at the pump.. When I asked to confirm, it was under warranty three different times he said yes, each time. He made the repairs, but accidentally left the old pump that they had just sold me six months prior behind, and sent me a $1400 bill for the work that was supposed to be under warranty due to their substandard workmanship. I just had another company come out and evaluate their work, and have them look at the pump they had left behind. It was from 2007! They told me it was a new pump They were selling me just six months ago. I there are too many other crooked things they did to mention. Trust me when I say DO NOT trust this company!!!! Again, crooks and con-artists.”
