β€œI WOULD NOT recommend this company. I had a very similar experience as the 1 star review by Marcus Steade. Which indicates this is a repeating issue with this company. I Waited 5 days as that was their 1st available...No problem with that. Slow draining tub. I informed the guys that came out I had used a gallon of main line cleaner 3-4 days prior and it had helped, the tub drained quicker than before. We still used the shower and likely had about 100 gallons of water run through it after using the drain cleaner. I showed them the easy access clean out location but they didn't want to use that, they said they would run a snake up from the reverse direction from the septic. They tried for 30 minutes and were not able to get the snake in the pipe hole....So they said they would need to go down from the vent pipe on the roof....No problem with that either.....They said another guy that was more experienced was on his way. They packed up and left. Couple minutes later I get a call from the company saying they couldn't do the job because I had used main line cleaner it was dangerous to their workers. I tried to explain 100 gallons of water had been flushed down after that...to no avail. I did have a couple choice words to the caller. My recommendation is 1) Don't call this company if you have used any extra strength liquid plumber or drain cleaner...Which I assume the vast majority of people try before calling a plumber. 2) If you are the owner of this company, ask callers at the time they call you to schedule an appointment if they have used drain opening products....That way you can tell them right then and there that you don't work on pipes with drain cleaner used on them.....even if flushed out. Had you done that I could have called someone else 5 days ago. Never will you get my business again. Seriously, a plumber that is afraid of drain cleaners is like a tree cutter that is afraid of heights, a carpenter afraid of saws, or an Uber afraid of driving.”

β€œI’ve had an intermittently slow drain in my kitchen and laundry sinks for about two years. I’ve always been able to get things draining again by running through things with my drill-powered snake. This time, though, that just didn’t make it work. I called one company who said they could water-jet the pipes clean. They could not get their equipment to do the first significant turn in the pipes, though. They suggested digging up the concrete floor of my laundry room (the main door we use to get in and out of the house) and rerouting the drain completely. He quoted $19K for the job, which would still leave my laundry room floor gravel because they don’t do concrete or tile. So I called another local plumber who said he was not equipped to handle this depth of clog, and he suggested Kington. They came out a few days later, and Lane was able to clear the problem within an hour and for about 1.5% of the estimate for unnecessarily rerouting my drains and less than they charged to not accomplish anything with their other attempts. Tl;dr Call Kington first if you’ve got a clog. They have the tools and the skills to get the job done.”

β€œI WOULD NOT recommend this company for anything. I called them for a bathroom sink clog that commercial drain cleaner wouldn't clear and scheduled the appointment for two days later. When they arrived at my house and learnt I used commercial drain cleaner they said they couldn't work the clog until the drain cleaner was removed from the pipe and pipes neutralized. This is something they could have mentioned when I scheduled the appointment. What homeowner doesn't try drain cleaner before calling the plumber? So I do the steps they required then waited two more days for pipes to dry then tried to schedule another appointment. The person on the phone tried every way possible to get me to use another company. First he quoted a price of $275. Then went on about they are not a full service plumber and if the pipes leak after clearing the drain they cannot fix them. He even recommended other plumbers in the area. I then asked if I was willing to pay the incredibly high price for the service and am willing to accept they won't be held responsible if the pipe leaks, could they get there before Christmas? He then went on to say it may be a week before they can get to me. Clearly they did not want my business and they shall never have it. I used Danny's plumbing in Oak Ridge. He showed within two hours, unclogged the drain line and only charged $125. DO NOT USE THESE FOOLS!!!”

β€œJerry and Nick did a wonderful job clearing our pipe of roots. They were here less than 30 minutes. After being told we would need a completely new main line and it would have cost us thousands, these guys cleared it at a very reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone who thinks they have any type of pipe blockage! Thank you all so much!”
