“The owner-operator came to pump my septic tank. He wasn't able to remove the lid, so he decided to leave and charge a show-up fee. First I asked if we could waive the fee if I still used him to do the work after the lid is removed by someone else. He declined to do so. Then I asked for an invoice for the fee before I paid it, he told me they aren't able to provide invoices -- "we only bill." After refusing to pay until I received an invoice, he called me a liar and threatened to place a lien on my property. After explaining to him I would not be paying without a written invoice (he wanted me to hand him cash), he called his assistant, and she emailed me an invoice within minutes. As soon as I received the invoice, I wrote him a check. He then accused me of planning to cancel the check. At that point, I told him to leave my property. Despite telling him repeatedly to leave, but he didn't make any effort to move toward his truck until I told him he was trespassing. “Paid for them to put on a riser and pump my septic system they didn't even finish pumping it completely and the hose clogged up or their system quit working they also agreed to fill in the dirt from the hole I excavated out and had to rent an excavator they didn't finish filling the dirt back and still wanted the full payment I made a full payment over $1,000 it had been over a month and they never came out to fill the dirt in then when they did they trashed the yard all I had was one pile of dirt that needed to be filled in and they trashed the whole yard with tracks and ruts and scraped up a ton of yard just to fill in over the tank lid.
