“On the surface, Koberlein (or Wind River or whatever) seems like a good company - but in reality, they have all these different departments that don't communicate with each other, and we ended up spending several hundred dollars over what we should have. Their billing and service system are incredibly confusing. All of this money could have gone to actual good work that would have resulted in a fixed system. Additionally, they told us we had a 1000 gallon tank, which it turns out, we did not. On the phone, when asking about what to do, the representative did not give us options or explain what the problem could be - just scheduled another pumping. When we had it pumped the first time, they sent a camera down and did not explain anything about what they found. They did not explain anything about work they did to our plumbing, just that it 'had to occur.' Well, turns out I had another professional come and say their work was incorrect. “This company used to be Koberlein in Lords Valley, PA. They WERE a reputable company for many years. Wind River Environmental totally ruined their reputation. First they didn't honor their cost on my septic cleanout, but the worst thing about them is they never return phone calls, and they just don't care. Their driver (Austin) drove very fast into my driveway and ripped out my camera cables on the house. He told me someone would call me to discuss. It cost me over $700 to get this repaired. “The men who came out to clean out my septic were great! They even informed me that the company can place risers down. They wrote on the ticket “will call in for risers”. That's when things took a turn... A different employee who came to do the job never called, instead he showed up without notice. No appointment was ever made by anyone. They just took it upon themselves to make an appointment without discussing it with us. He said they just scheduled him and gave him a ticket to do the job. I was fine with him doing the job even though I was not prepared for them to come. I proceeded to ask him about price and he said he knew nothing about the prices so he would have the office contact us or we can call. He said he was happy because he got to go home early since we were his last job so he used any excuse to just leave. He was even backing his truck out while talking to me.
