“The best parts about my experience with this company was the original person who quoted the job and said he'd be doing the work, but I never saw again, and the competitive prices. They two plumbers that came out and did the job complained about digging the entire time. They told me the way the configured the pipe going into my house probably wouldn't pass inspection and they were correct. The company wasn't transparent about the inspection process, which delayed things, two week before final inspection by the City, which I put on Apex. Had a 70 ft. trench, 1 foot wide in the middle of my front yard for two weeks, when it finally passed inspection after Apex corrected their own problem, they tried to back fill the rain soaked yard and left my meter box with a hole around it. I have a 70 ft. Long 6 ft wide dirt are now because they raked and destroyed the grass. I have some work to do to clean up my yard, but what do you expect for a $5000 job.” — Don Spatzer, ⭐⭐

“Disappointed After 7 Years We hired AA Cut Rate Septic in April 2019 to install a new septic system based on their long-standing reputation in our area. They've installed nearly all the systems in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, we now need to replace the entire system due to an improperly installed drain field after only 7 years. We've attempted to contact John Tyler multiple times about this issue over the past 1+ year. He answered a few calls initially but has since stopped responding entirely. The situation became more complicated after AA Cut Rate was acquired by Wind River Environmental. Wind River came out to pump our tank July of last year. When scheduling, I mentioned I wasn't sure if we had a filter. During the service, they only opened one side of the tank. Had they checked the other side, they would have discovered we do have a filter. It's extremely disappointing to be ghosted by a company we trusted with a major home investment, especially when the system failed well before its expected lifespan. A septic system should last much longer than 7 years, and the lack of accountability or willingness to even discuss the situation is unacceptable.
