“I honestly have to say that Michigan Septic was no more than amazing! Our story began with gurgling sounds when I did laundry and when we flushed the toilet. We called and explained to them what was going happening. They scheduled a time to come out to run a camera through our drains & drainfield. In the meantime we had an emergency out of state and had to be away from home for 2 1/2 weeks. They worked with us on having our daughter meet them at our house so they could get this done. The outcome was a bad drainfield, which was 45 years old. They was very understanding of our situation and worked well with us on getting everything in order and ready to replace our old system. They communicated very well, which we greatly appreciated, and had no problem with us contacting them throughout the process and asking questions. Everyone we spoke with was proffessional and friendly, from the office people to the workers. They arrived around 9am and was completely finished at 5pm. The whole system was completed in one day! We had to wait on the county to issue permits before proceeding. So it took 6 1/2 weeks from beginning to end. But our new system is installed and we are back up and running! The inspector verified that we made the right decisions. He told us that he works with Michigan Septic often and that they are a very good company. “5 stars doesn't nearly come close to the service We recieved from Andy at Kevin Burns Septic Services! He deserves more like 100 🌟! In a crappy situation I searched Google for Septic companies near me. I called 5 or 6 total. Two called back.. One couldn't schedule to come to my home for 3-4 days. Andy was at my home within the hour! His price quote was the cheapest! When Andy arrived he noticed i was very busy in the well house trying to "fix" a water issue i discovered. My Husband is an OTR trucker so I try my best to handle home needs. Andy explained he wasn't a well guy but he could take a look after pumping out the Septic. Once he got all set up and started pumping the Septic he gave advice and walked me through what he was doing so I understood the process and warning signs next time this issue might come up. Andy went above and beyond the job requirements and was very kind. Once the septic issue was resolved we went to the well issue to see what the problem could be. Andy discovered a few things causing our issue and had the fittings to fix it. He drove home, got his service truck and drove back to my house to help. We were outside in the rain and cold for a few hours and Andy didn't seem to mind at all. Our Well was fixed and our Septic was empty and all the THANKS go to Andy! The guy in the office quoted me $75 a half hour to dig up the lids And the older gentleman that came out and dug up one lid and emptied the tanks in 40 min told me it was $125 for digging up the lid because he was older and experienced and could do it faster. “I had a old clay pipe crack in November. I had a company working on the replacement, they had GA Hunt come out and do the excavation. They came out in a timely manner and did a great job. I have a friend who used to work in the housing commission here in town and she recommended this company right off the bat. How does my front yard look? “(Would give zero or minus stars if I could) We paid $1,600 for a service that lasted less than two hours. They dug up the area, found no issue, and simply covered it back up — and that was it. They did absolutely nothing to repair or restore the grass, which is now completely ruined. No real resolution, no proper cleanup, and certainly not worth the price. I’m extremely disappointed and do not recommend their service. Below is the invoice description. 3/11/2025 Waterline repair Excavated area of sink hole to expose waterline but could not keep up with the water flow with three pumps running. After several different attempts to shut off the water flow, it was determined that the main to the city was leaking and following the bore hole to new gas line and it was coming up in the yard. $1600!!
