“So, who do you call when your husband tells you on the morning of Christmas Eve that both of the downstairs toilets in your condo are non-functional? And we were expecting nine people on Christmas morning! After looking online for Same Day Plumbers, I called Mr. Rooter - Columbus. They were helpful in starting the process of getting us on the list — and never mentioned that I was calling at a busy holiday time. We were given a four hour window and Brandon arrived about two hours later. Since these were the original toilets from the 2007 construction, he explained that there were several options. We had already tried to ‘solve the problems’ by replacing various parts several times, but that wasn’t working. So, we decided that they this time they needed to be replaced. Brandon left for about a half hour to get what was needed, then returned and installed the two toilets. He was careful to clean up as he worked. “I needed to have a new kitchen faucet installed. Waterworks was recommended to me by a friend. Just to be sure I checked out their reviews online, which added up to 4.7 out of 5 stars. I called at 7:45 a.m. the day after New Years Day (a Friday morning), and an actual human, who spoke understandable English, answered. I explained my problem, and she checked that day's scheduled openings, of which there were none. That didn't surprise me, but then I was happily surprised when she offered me an appointment Monday morning. I happily booked it, and, sure enough , Kameron showed up right around 8:30. Garrett was a great plumber, courteous/professional and very efficient in his work late that evening. I had to call around 10p and they finally confirmed an appt from 10:45p-12:45a. Service was excellent and price was reasonable. “Update (January 28, 2026): I'm revising this review. While Anthony was professional and communicated well during the visit, he misdiagnosed my issue. My Ecobee thermostat was alerting me to frequent HVAC reboots. Anthony attributed the problem to dirty ductwork and performed routine maintenance. I had my ducts cleaned on January 16th—something that genuinely needed to be done after 15 years—but the reboots continued. When Bassett Services sent a second technician from Fire & Ice Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical on January 21st, he quickly diagnosed the actual problem: a failing limit switch. It took him minutes. That misdiagnosis cost me nearly three weeks during a historic Ohio cold snap with wind chills hitting 25 below zero. “Bob’s Septic Tank Service in Sunbury, Ohio is the best around in the area that they service; I have used their service for many years and have always been satisfied. My home has its original septic tank system (1967), and they have always provided the best in septic tank service when it is necessary. They are expedient, professional, friendly, and worked quickly to empty our Septic Tank for the next many months. Because I had a drainage line blockage, they also tried to “suck” the blockage out, to no avail (grease build-up), so I had another company come out the next day to take care of that issue. “Used Chucks several times in the past for mainline jetting to clear clogs and debris with 0 issues, highly recommended them to anyone I knew. We called them out to clear a cast iron main that was backing up due to Rose bush roots less than 10ft from the house. Employees were unpleasant from jump as the dispatcher had indicated there was an exterior clean out (we had never indicated this). They jetted the line $375 later and it was still backing up, we mistakenly called a 2nd time, had them jet again, another $375 later and it still wasn’t clear. Called an actual plumber who scoped the line (hence how I know the issue and how it was not resolved). Who then cleared the line with a small auger because it was so close to the house. $750 for a job not done, if they want to make it right I am open (but doubtful). “Short version: this company is untrustworthy, unorganized, dishonest, negligent, unresponsive, and apathetic to their customers after they've caused damages and a financial loss, even though they are supposedly insured. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I give them 0/5 stars. Long version: I had an appointment with Wells at 10 AM on Monday, January 8th, 2024 to check the back-up battery for our sump-pump; it had been going off, indicating that the battery needed to be replaced. We also had noticed a little water on the floor next to where the sump pump is located. Steve and another plumber arrived over 3 hours late. One of the first things he said to me was that "the front-desk lady likes to schedule a lot of appointments." Steve first told me that the main sump pump needed replaced, so I agreed to this. After a few minutes, he then told me that it didn't need to be replaced after all and that the float had been stuck. He indicated on our appointment notes that the "main pump is operational." He also told me it would be cheaper for us to replace the back-up battery ourselves. Before leaving, he said to let him know if that didn't fix the problem. On Friday, January 12, 2024, we got a lot of rain. I went into my basement and noticed my carpet was soaking wet. I called Wells several times before getting ahold of the owner, Taylor, seeking emergency services because it was after hours. He asked me if I could tell if it was getting worse or not, because it could save me a little money to not pay the weekend rate if I waited for someone to come out on Monday to look at it. I asked that he send someone ASAP. He said he would send his head plumber, Steve, to my house first thing Saturday morning. Steve came to my house Saturday morning and assessed the problem. He replaced the sump pump and said, "I should have replaced it the first time." I fully believe that if he had replaced it the first time, my basement wouldn't have suffered the consequences. I also believe that he was rushing due to being so behind on appointments that day, and he was negligent in his diagnosis. Our carpet was completely ruined. The pad underneath was soaked and not salvageable. Our TV stand and baseboards also had water damage and needed to be replaced. My insurance company estimated the cost of repairs to far exceed what they would pay us. I called Wells and talked to Rosie for 4 minutes on January 16, 2024. After explaining the situation, I asked if I could have Taylor's number because I wanted to discuss a solution. She said she couldn't give his number out, so I asked if she could ask him to give me a call. A few days go by, and I don't hear from Taylor. I called again and talked to her on January 19, 2024, for 4 minutes. I again expressed wanting to be able to come to a solution about the damages we sustained. I never heard from Taylor. I felt like they were avoiding me, so I consulted a lawyer. He said I needed to repair everything before seeking payment from Wells. In the process of making repairs, we had another plumber install an updated sump pump system. He commented on the shoddy work done previously. In August 2024, Rosie called my husband asking him to pay our outstanding bill. He explained we hadn't paid it because of the damages they caused. She claimed it was the first time she was hearing about it, which was 100% untrue given I had talked to her twice about it. At this time, I submitted all of our receipts from our repairs to our lawyer. In the summer of 2025, my lawyer reached out to Taylor seeking payment for our repairs. He claimed this was the first time he was hearing about it. My lawyer offered to help him file a claim through his insurance to pay for the repairs. He was worried about his insurance rates going up if he filed a claim. So much so, that he hired a lawyer. He would rather pay legal fees than take accountability and do the right thing! They were unwilling to compromise, so we're left on the hook and paid over $10k for their mistake. IT SHOULD NOT GIVE YOU PEACE OF MIND THAT THEY (SUPPOSEDLY) HAVE INSURANCE!” — Marissa DiSabato, ⭐

They used the Water Jet which can Blast though Tree Branches the size of your Finger. It was a Hose that Plugged into the spicket in the front yard that went to their Truck and then another Hose that came out the back and went down to our Basement. “We had our septic tank and lid collapse on Memorial Day. Aerator fell into the tank, too and part of back wall as well. We called a few different companies looking for a repair quote, but were met with “we won’t repair, you need to replace” without even looking at it. Called Ace, and Colt came out to look at it the next day. After his assessment, he went over the requirements, what is necessary to be in compliance and then gave us a quote to stabilize and rebuild the portion of the tank that collapsed, clean out the drain lines, a new aerator and even re did our sump pump discharge which was draining too close to the tank. All of this was done within 2 working days (3 total as one day was a complete rain out where concrete couldn’t be poured). “UPDATE: another service provider came out. Told me that our septic system had been wired incorrectly and showed me exactly where Everclean went wrong. Everclean also replaced a motor for the system but never came inside to see that the fuse was blown. System had not been working for several months as they also give me wrong information about how my system works. I should pursue all this legally but I am just moving on and hoping this post ensures that nobody else has this same experience. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. Service and communication has gone down hill. I have used this company for 5 years. The last experience was that they couldn’t access my septic system and said that they would figure out a resolution. Over a month has gone by and they haven’t been back. I have left several phone calls and emails and have gotten no response. Further, every year I get a letter from the city saying that they received no verification that I have my septic system being actively and regularly serviced.
