“I honestly have to say that Michigan Septic was no more than amazing! Our story began with gurgling sounds when I did laundry and when we flushed the toilet. We called and explained to them what was going happening. They scheduled a time to come out to run a camera through our drains & drainfield. In the meantime we had an emergency out of state and had to be away from home for 2 1/2 weeks. They worked with us on having our daughter meet them at our house so they could get this done. The outcome was a bad drainfield, which was 45 years old. They was very understanding of our situation and worked well with us on getting everything in order and ready to replace our old system. They communicated very well, which we greatly appreciated, and had no problem with us contacting them throughout the process and asking questions. Everyone we spoke with was proffessional and friendly, from the office people to the workers. They arrived around 9am and was completely finished at 5pm. The whole system was completed in one day! We had to wait on the county to issue permits before proceeding. So it took 6 1/2 weeks from beginning to end. But our new system is installed and we are back up and running! The inspector verified that we made the right decisions. He told us that he works with Michigan Septic often and that they are a very good company. “Called them up at 2pm on a Monday and told them my system is backed up and wanted to know when they might be able to come out to get it pumped. Much to my surprise they said they could be there in an hour, so I asked pricing and he was straightforward with his price, which was on par with what another contractor had quoted me in the past, so I had them come out. While pumping he worked with me to flush the drain and release a clog in the pipes that had formed. They didn't charge me for "excessive fluid level" or "thickness" which I had been hit with (to a tune of $150) previously from said "other" contractor. That alone is the biggest reason ill be calling them back in the future. I got a price over the phone, that the guy stuck to once he was completed with service, and no other hidden fees. “I was seriously stressing.. we are a family with 5 kids.. with holidays right around the corner. My septic line had bellied and kept getting clogged. I was paying $$ to multiple plumbers to snake it, only have it happen 3 days later again. I received multiple quotes.. nobody could do it quick or some never even got back to me.
