“Discount septic service has been out at our place three times in the past 10 years. This last time was somewhat a letdown. I called and was quoted $400 for our 1200 gallon tank. We were charged $450 because the driver told us he pumped 1400 gallons. I asked how this was possible when we have a 1200 gallon tank. He said his truck had 1200 gallons when he started and ended with 2600 gallons after he was done. I asked him how this was possible, but his answer was unsatisfactory. He showed no proof that he started at some value, so it was his word. I would recommend getting a firm estimate with proof of how many gallons were pumped, FYI in the future. :(”
