βπ€© above & beyond service, & no up charge for that service! I called Morehead Septic on a Sunday morning, Keith arrived within 1.5 hours. He came out on a Sunday emergency call & had to go get more equipment. There was no additional fees, unheard of!! He left the site nice & clean. Highly recommend!!β β Tracy Latham, βββββ
βWeβd used a different company in past years for our service (& they were great!), but we needed our tank pumped on Friday & our guy wasnβt going to be able to get to us till Monday. We called Keith & he initially said he could get there Saturday, but he called back later Friday evening & said he could be there in an hour. He arrived when he said he would, quickly located the spot where he needed to dig, dug it up & got it pumped by 8:30pm. Found an issue that needing repairing & made plans to come Saturday afternoon to fix that. Again, right on time, repaired quickly, and filled in the hole almost as if it hadnβt been dug! Very reasonably priced, super friendly & knowledgeable, and hard working!! Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone needing septic tank service! βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβ β ROBERT EARL CARTER, βββββ

βI am very pleased with Myers Septic Service. They were very professional. Being that we still have snow and ice on the ground here he came out in this cold weather to pump our septic tank. Thank you for coming out in dangerous conditions to make sure our tank was set. I would highly recommend Myers Septic Service to anyone needing a septic clean out. Thank you so much Mitchell for your fast and friendly service this morning. I commend you for working out in this cold weather we are experiencing in the Carolinas during this time. Stay warm friends.β β Danielle Cole, βββββ
βWife said it was time to call somebody. There was a gurgling sound we were not familiar with and the occasional smell. After checking with Google to see who we could call, I had a list of possible companies. Since my septic tank was 35 years old and had never been pumped I figured I should shop for experience instead of price. With Myers having been in business for over 45 years, they got the call. My first time calling with a septic problem. Dena could not have been nicer and placed my appointment. Mitch came out and arrived early and did not take long to pump out tanks. Mitch was very knowledgeable and helpful, answering all our questions. He was very nice as well. I am very pleased with the service Myers provided and will not hesitate to call again. Thank you Myers.β β Franklin, βββββ

βReplaced a 100 yr old concrete block βtankβ right next to the foundation and installed a new leach field with this company. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. The work was funded through The Water & Well Trust, a government program. Rhonda was excellent with the βred-tapeβ of the process. My experience is that not all companies will cooperate with government agencies but Full Service Septic was more than willing. The work was done as soon as the weather permitted & in a single day. They have a great rapor with the local inspector because they really know what theyβre doing. Not surprising considering they have three generations in the business. They were respectful of my home and my yard/garden. These are good, honest people who work hard and make sure things get done the right way.β β KLee Hamilton, βββββ
βI did not have a good experience with this company. I hired them and it took weeks to get on their schedule due to rain delays which I get but Ronda never kept me in the loop. Iβd reach out call wait days for a single text this is after I gave a couple grand deposit. Then they installed my system incorrectly not as designed per county. Now Iβm having issues only been 2/3 months and she is stating homeowners negligence when I did everything she asked me to do. I also was supposed to have a clean out installed and they forgot that too but I paid for it. And now they are not answering when I call I shouldβve taken my business elsewhere. Edit to respond to owner: my deposit was paid I waited two months with Ronda telling me we will be out here next weeks for weeks and then not even calling when they did not show. Then when they did show they brought the wrong permit even though I sent that to Ronda then they installed the system incorrectly I was only given a permit after having to sign something saying Iβm going against county judgement. The owner was out here cussing out the inspector. They were supposed to install a clean out and riser and did neither. I was sooooo tired of dealing with their bs I just let it go at the time bc the owner was telling me I could take them to court and I didnβt have time or fight but other people should know about their gross negligence. Ronda only responds when she feels like it. And has never came back out here. my text with Ronda which shows days week go by with no reply after I paid my deposit her response is not trueβ β Mommy Bear, β

βAngelo was great to work with. Very friendly and informative. We had our septic pumped. The price quoted was the price we paid. They were in and out in no time. We will use them again in the future. Highly recommended!β β Erin Kosovan, βββββ
βI am beyond satisfied with the exceptional service and kindness experienced with ready septic. My mother had a huge hole in her front yard from water back up due to Brothers heating and air placing a septic tank that was too small and too close to her house 5 years ago. She called around and got numerous estimates of multiple companies in York sc, stating they could do the Job for 7,000 to 7,500 trying to lock her in to a contract. After speaking with the owner and the caring office staff they made us feel comfortable and confident that we were in the right place for the work needed! The owner showed kindness and empathy for my mother. He knew she was elderly, on a fixed income and venerable. He explained to me and my mom that he was an expert in septic tank systems thatβs all he deals with. He was very knowledgeable, honest, and took his time explaining what needed to be done. He showed grace for my mom in regards to the cost and he did impeccable work and finished the job in 3 hours. This is a man of God, that did top tier work for my mom. We are very satisfied! Thank you πβ β Shonda Young, βββββ

βWe recently had HoneyBee come out to service our septic tank system. Their communication was great and so were the guys, Dillon and Jeff. (Sorry I didn't get the name of the third man. He was great too.) They were on time and took time to answer all my questions and did a GREAT JOB! I also learned there are two entries to the system that our previous company did not even open to clear. Not only did they empty but inspected to see anything that was needed....We added a filter, which we didn't have, to protect our leech field which I appreciated them pointing out. I will definitely recommend them and will be seeing them again in 3 to 5 years to service again. So nice to have them so close in Mt. Pleasant.β β Carol Blair, βββββ
βHoney Bee helped solve a septic issue with support and recommendation of a service provider that was awesome. Honey Bee was booked for our need but help find a partner that provided excellent service and it was refreshing to see these companies work together to help folks in need. Not mentioning the other company but left them a great review as well. Thanks to all!β β Pete Hovanec, βββββ

βOur septic pump failed two days before Thanksgiving, and Cory from Septic Blue of Charlotte came to the rescue the same day. Everyone else said they couldnβt get to us for at least 24 hours. Cory worked tirelessly all day to pump the tanks, replace the pump, and install a new control panel to replace our 30-year-old unit. He stayed late into the night, maintaining a positive and friendly attitude the entire time. Weβre so grateful for his professionalism, hard work, and dedication. Highly recommended!β β Mark R. LePage, βββββ
βCory was professional, knowledgeable, timely and personable. He explained the entire process before he started and kept me informed along the way. If anything else needed to be done, he explained what was wrong and gave me the option of repairing it or not. Cory did not try to pressure me into making any repairs. I trusted him completely and would highly recommend him to others. It was a pleasure working with him. Thank you Cory!β β Jo Lynn Hamlin, βββββ

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I pump my septic tank?
Most septic tanks should be pumped every 3-5 years, depending on household size, tank capacity, and water usage. A family of four with a 1,000-gallon tank typically needs pumping every 3 years. Regular pumping prevents solids from entering the drain field and extends your system's lifespan.
How much does septic pumping cost in Charlotte?
Septic pumping in Charlotte, North Carolina typically costs between $300 and $600, depending on tank size (750-1,500 gallons), accessibility, and the service provider. Request quotes from multiple companies listed above for the best price.
What are signs my septic system needs repair?
Warning signs include: slow drains throughout the house, sewage odors near the tank or drain field, standing water or soggy spots in the yard, gurgling sounds in pipes, unusually lush grass over the drain field, and sewage backing up into the home. If you notice any of these, contact a professional immediately.
Do I need a permit for septic installation in North Carolina?
Yes, North Carolina requires permits for new septic system installations and most major repairs. Permits ensure systems meet health and environmental standards. Your septic installer will typically handle the permit process, but fees are usually $200-$1,000 depending on your location.
How long does a septic system last?
A well-maintained septic system can last 25-40 years or more. Concrete tanks last the longest (40+ years), while steel tanks may only last 15-20 years before rusting. The drain field typically lasts 20-30 years. Regular pumping, proper use, and prompt repairs are key to maximizing your system's lifespan.
What is the difference between a septic tank and sewer?
A septic system is a private, on-site wastewater treatment system owned and maintained by the homeowner. A sewer system connects your home to a municipal treatment plant that processes wastewater from the entire community. Septic systems require regular pumping (every 3-5 years), while sewer systems charge monthly fees for centralized treatment.
