“I called Al’s septic tank cleaning yesterday to inquire about having our tank cleaned, and stated this is not an emergency. They quoted $350 and said they can come out tomorrow morning at 10 AM. In the morning I received many different spam calls, and around 10:30 AM. I called Al to make sure I didn’t miss a phone call with them, and inquire about when they would be able to head out. They stated something about a tire, and told me they would call me before they head out. Six hours later I still had received no calls, so I called again and let them know that their services would no longer be needed as I’ve had no incoming contacts for them for six hours. Seeing that it’s now after 4 PM, and it gets dark by five, I doubt they were going to come out and do the service, nor did I want them coming out after dark to do the service. Furthermore, I started reviewing their other ratings, and seeing that one of the most recently had nearly an identical issue, which was six months ago., stating they were also quoted 10 AM and then we’re late, and they felt that they didn’t do a good job. I was looking at having my septic tank emptied, and possibly a new septic tank line installed, which they were going to come out and quote for. However, if this is the kind of service they provide, I not want any part of it. They were polite and friendly over the phone, and perhaps this was just a bac day. “On October 28, 2025, I paid C&C - Kevin Carter 850.00 for gravel and for it to be spread. On October 30, 2025, He brought out a truck load of dirt. He said they brought him the wrong stuff and they would be back with the right stuff the gravel that I had paid for. I never heard from him, so I started calling. One excuse after the other, truck issues, money problems. I did continue to follow up. On November 25, 2025, he came out and spread half of the dirt. When I called today he stated the gravel was brought out and that was what he spread on November 25, 2025. I told him I was here and there was no gravel and half the dirt pile was gone. He got angry and started yelling at me. I told him was going to hang up and to bring the gravel. Then I texted him to do the same. He keeps saying they brought the gravel/crush and run and I got what I paid for. I called the number on the truck, his family. I spoke with Troy Carter. He stated that Kevin never paid for the load of dirt and he never brought out the crush and run. I shared this with Kevin, all in text, He said he used a different company? “Have been having problems for a couple of years, previously just had septic tank pumped out, this time he pumped out tank and suggested that we needed to have line into house checked, they found line damaged close to the house, was caused by cable tv company cutting pipe with trencher, cable installer repaired with plastic water bottle which allowed roots to enter pipe and grew to clog pipe! “They came out told me they were coming back the next day to finish the job. I didn’t see them for two weeks every time I texted him they said they would be there that afternoon or the following morning. When they finally showed up my toilets were stopped up because they didn’t finish the work on the septic tank and I had to go a whole day with no toilets. Funny how it only took 15-20 minutes of work to finish, but I had to wait two weeks. Update for the third year in a row I had to have my septic tank serviced went with another company. I have been told my my realtor Rene Sawey and "Bucky" that they would be over Saturday 14 apr 18 to fix the yard and remove an excavator, i can only assume now is abandoned property, since it's been in my back yard for three weeks now. After receiving a call from "Bucky," 15 or 16 Apr 18 i was told that he would be over this week to smooth out the yard and remove the excavator.
